As Director of Network Services, John is responsible for providing excellent IT customer service every time. This includes both internal customers, the employees of Algorithm, as well as providing full IT support for Algorithm’s 300 nationwide customers.

John has an additional role as hosted services manager. Algorithm’s hosted services customers are housed in a Chicago data center and John provides full installation, support and maintenance for those customers.

And when we say he know his stuff, we mean it. John’s certified in the following areas:

  • MICROSOFT: MCP – Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSE – Microsoft Certified System Engineer, MCSA – Microsoft Certified System Administrator

  • CISCO: CCNA – Cisco Certified Network Associate, CCNP – Cisco Certified Network Professional

  • APPLE: ACMT – Apple Certified Mac Technician

  • IBM: AS400 Systems Administrator

  • VMWare: VCP6 – VMware Certified Professional

Best Advice for ERP Users & Companies Implementing an ERP System?

Always consider others and try to use patience and understanding while working with any software.

What is favorite feature of Exact, Acumatica or SAP Business One Software?       

I love Acumatica. I'm so pleased with the innovative cloud platform that Acumatica resides in. It makes setup and management a breeze!

What's your best piece of advice for a company looking to implement and ERP system?          

Set up (and use) a test server. Piloting is one of the most beneficial things a company can do before implementation. Too many customers are too eager to go live with taking the steps to pilot. This can cause problems down the road.    

Best Way to Enjoy a Weekend

Traveling to new places with family. In our house, we happiness in motion.

Best Place to Go on a Vacation 

We've been all over but find Ireland to be our favorite place. The people make it best. They are warm inviting and love food and drink! There are few places where we've been that feel as close to home as Ireland.

What's your favorite way to celebrate Thanksgiving? (Got a favorite recipe?)

For years, the night before Thanksgiving has been most fun for me. Our far-flung family usually arrives Thanksgiving Eve and the gathering typically is more relaxed. Ask me about my Sweet Potato casserole.
